Eileen M. Moore, 1918-2003, Versailles

Eileen Marie Moore, 85, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003, at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles.

She was born Feb. 9, 1918, in Pilot Rock, Ore., a daughter of Arthur and Lillie Cochran Kidwell.

On Aug. 9, 1941, she was married to Lloyd Moore, who died in 1992.

Mrs. Moore worked for Interstate Studios and Rival Manufacturing. She retired in 1982. She enjoyed fishing and making crafts.

Surviving are one son, Larry L. Moore, of Sedalia; one daughter, Sharon LaHue, of Alpena, Ark.; one sister, Bonnie Riffle, of Kansas City; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by one brother, Jim Kidwell.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, with the Rev. Todd Forman officiating. Burial will be in the Versailles Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles.
